Convenience, comfort and ease all rolled into one button.

You can put whatever you want in this area. Either a short description of your post/item or a great subtitle.

Home automation is when technology and convenience converge, allowing the electronic devices that you use every day—lights, TVs, audio equipment, security panels, thermostats, and so on—to communicate with one another. By having these devices collaborate, you are given the power to control all of them from one convenient interface—whether it’s a touch screen, remote control, keypad, or even on your smartphone—from virtually anywhere in the world.

So what does
that actually mean?

Picture this. Your family sits down to enjoy a movie, but if you’re like most people, it takes at least three or four remotes to actually get to that point. Then after the movie finally begins, you have to get up and turn off or dim the lights.

With Control4, you only need one remote to do it all. With a simple press of a button, all of the devices involved (TV or projector, Blu-ray player, media player, receiver and/or lights) will all set themselves to the correct inputs and your lights will automatically dim to the desired level.

Morning Scenes

Most would agree that a shrieking alarm clock jerking your body out of a dead sleep is not the most ideal way to start the day. With home automation, the morning can greet you in a much more pleasurable way. An automated “morning scene” can help wake you over a specified period of time. For example, your lights could turn on at 10%, and during the course of ten minutes, gradually rise to 80%. The television or bedroom music would turn on at a low volume, also increasing over time, and your shades would slowly open to reveal the sunlight.

 Away Mode

Sometimes leaving the house can be quite the task. Did you turn off all of your lights? Did you set your thermostat to the correct temperature? With home automation, you don’t have to worry about any of that. Simply press a button on your keypad next to the door and your home will put itself into an “away” mode-turning off all lights and setting the temperature just where you want it. It can also arm your alarm system and even lock all of your doors for you.

Remote Access

Did you forget to close your garage? Not a problem. You can access all of the devices in your home—including that neglected garage door—no matter where you are. Simply log in to your home from a computer, smart phone or tablet and address the issue instantly.

Enjoy total home control from any device, with the app that can do it all. Turn your iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, tablet or laptop into the ultimate remote for your Control4 system.
